Our bike tour trip report sites:
Czech Republic/Austria: May 2005
We started in Prague, rode to the Austrian border, and then rode several
more days in Austria. Read the complete trip report, with photos and links.
Biking the Tauern bike path in Austria:
May 2002. From Krimml, Austria in the Alps to Passau, Germany, on the
Danube.
My resource site about taking bikes on trains
in Germany, Austria and the Czech Republic.
Links to Web sites related to biking and tandeming:
The Tandem Link
Probably the most complete resource for tandems and tandeming on the
Web. Rather than reinventing the wheel, I'm linking to it!
Sheldon Brown/Harris
Cyclery Homepage
Full of great technical and repair info on bikes (and philosophical
ramblings, too). Sheldon Brown is the undisputed king of Internet biking
tech resources.
Tandem Magazine Online
A site all about tandem bicycles, with a handy free classified section
for buying/selling. The magazine is no longer published, but the Web site
lives on.
Santana Tandems
Santana makes some great tandems. We've owned two Santanas (currently
we have a Santana Fusion
S&S), and have been very pleased with them. Santana's Web site is
not very impressive, but at least it provides info about their bikes.
Bicycle Touring 101
A great, comprehensive site about bicycle touring, including information
about how to get started.
Ken Kifer's Bike
Pages
One of the best biking resources on the Web.
Crazy Guy on a Bike Bike
Touring Travelogue Site
A clearinghouse site for bike tour travelogues posted by many different
users. Neat site!
Trento Bike Pages
The definitive site for bike touring trip reports and resources. Bike
touring travelogues from many, many countries.
