Camera Gear Used
- Bodies: Nikon D70 (digital), N90s and FA.
- Lenses: Nikkor 80-200/2.8 AF-D, Nikkor 70-300 AF-D, Nikkor 50/1.8 AF, Nikkor 28-85 AF-D, Nikkor 24-85 AF-D, Nikkor 18-70 AF-S DX, Nikkor 24-50 AF, Nikkor 85 Micro, and Tamron 28-200 AF-D (not as sharp as the Nikkors, but great for traveling and backpacking).
- Other gear: Nikon SB-800, SB-25 and SB-20 Speedlight flash units. Camera supports include a Bogen Manfrotto 3018 monopod and a Bogen 3011 tripod with 3047 head. I also have this cool little (really little) tripod called an "Ultrapod II"; it's great for traveling, bike touring, backpacking, etc., and even supports an SLR with a longer lens. Camera bags include LowePro Off-Road, LowePro Magnum AW, LowePro Nova 4, and a LowePro Top Load Zoom bag for traveling (yes, I'm a LowePro groupie).
Tech notes
Most images were scanned from transparencies or negs on a Scanmate drum scanner or a Minolta QuickScan35 slide scanner. Prints were scanned on Umax and HP flatbed scanners.
Photos were scanned into Adobe Photoshop, color-corrected, and sized. Page layout was done in Macromedia Dreamweaver. I used an Apple PowerMacintosh G4/1.0 and a G3/350.
