• A speech written for the president of ACP to present at a national health care conference on women's health issues.
• A speech discussing the changing environment of medicine, written for the president of ACP.
• A speech written for ACP's president to give at a groundbreaking ceremony.
• A PowerPoint instructional presentation I developed and presented about graphic file formats (large 2mb .ppt file)

Print- and electronic-based publications, brochures, etc.

• ACP 2002 annual report (PDF file). I researched, wrote, edited, and served as creative director for this publication, which won an award from the Philadelphia Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA).
• ACP 2003 annual report (PDF file). Due to budget constraints, the report was redesigned to appear as a four-page insert in the member magazine. I researched, wrote, edited, and served as creative director for this publication.
• A patient-oriented health care brochure about type 2 diabetes. The brochure's text is mirrored on a Web site, or download a PDF file of the brochure.
• An electronic newsletter (80,000-circulation) that I developed and edited for members of the American College of Physicians. The newsletter was primarily sent to members via e-mail, and was also available on the Web. It had an extremely low opt-out rate (less than one percent). Note (7-28-08): link is temporarily down due to host site restructuring. A new link will be up soon.
• Bioterrorism pocket card (PDF file) to help physicians identify bioterrorism events. I edited and produced this for ACP.

Web sites and electronic-based communication projects (videos, presentations, etc.)

Note (7-28-08): the following links are temporarily unavailable, as the host site (American College of Physicians) was recently revised and much of the content was deleted from their server. I will have new links up soon. Please e-mail me if you'd like to see a specific item.

• Doctorsforadults.com was an award-winning, consumer-oriented health care/patient education Web site from the American College of Physicians (ACP). I had complete responsibility for the site, including initial site design and development, content development and editing, and regular maintenance. The site's content has now been incorporated into the general ACP Web site.
• A Web site on ACP's quality improvement activities (I developed the content and served as site editor)
• A video project that I managed (opens a .wmv file)
• A PowerPoint presentation I developed to complement the video noted above (opens a Web page)
