"Creating a World Wide Web-based Multimedia Portfolio"

With a review of the history of the Internet and the World Wide Web

A Master's Degree Portfolio Project

Copyright 1999 by Brian Wasson

This project was the culminating project for my master's degree in journalism from Regent University. It is hardly the definitive word on the subject, but I've posted it here in the hope that it may assist others who are pursuing scholarly work on the subject of the Internet, the World Wide Web, or any of its associated uses. The bibliography and literature review, in particular, may prove valuable to researchers.

N.B.: This document has not been updated much since it went live in 1999 (although I have fixed a few things here and there). While most of the links in the bibliography are likely to still work, undoubtedly some will be out of date.

The practical application of this paper may be found at my Web site.

Comments are welcome.
